GL Media, the company behind the UK's premier Gospel music magazine: Gospel Link , is pleased to announce that the next installment of GL Live will see Christian Hip Hop legend, Da' T.R.U.T.H. return.

Renowned for pioneering, Da' T.R.U.T.H. is also celebrated for his inspiring, penetrating lyrics. His extensive body of work has gained critical acclaim on a global scale, plus Grammy and Dove nominations and two Stellar awards . GL Live V will be an opportunity for the Cross Movement Records' artist to showcase his highly-anticipated 4 th solo album, ‘The Big Picture', which is due for release in July.

In addition to being a powerful artist, who has worked alongside some of the Gospel industry's finest, including Kirk Franklin , Tye Tribbett and Donnie McClurkin , Da' T.R.U.T.H. (born Emanuel Lee Lambert, Jr) is additionally a passionate missionary and speaker, heavily involved in youth, prison and community ministry. A graduate of Philadelphia Biblical University, he works to impact Urban cultures with godly values through his music and teaching and also serves as an elder elect in his home church.

GL Media continues to present world-class Gospel artists and deliver ground-breaking concerts. This next chapter will also feature 2 additional U.S. guest artists; R&B sensation Sean Simmonds and distinguished rapper Mark J . If you have not yet had the pleasure of knowing about these artists, Sean Simmonds is a cutting edge singer/songwriter/producer celebrating the success of his second release, ‘It's Over', which soared to Top 10 status on the American Urban/Hip-Hop Gospel charts. Meanwhile, Mark J's latest album - An Everyday World - h as been ranked by industry professionals in The States as one of the top 3 Gospel Hip Hop projects of 2009.

The GL Live V tour will be an international link-up but will also feature home-grown talent . This includes pioneering duo Commission - renowned for delivering a unique and influential brand of “edutainment” music ministry- along with upcoming rapper E-Tizz; hype man to MOBO award-winner Jahaziel who is preparing to release his debut project. Furthermore, the shows will feature other special guest appearances, a live band experience , free give-aways, superstar DJs and hosts Simply Andy and Malikha.

GL Live is an innovative Urban Christian music event that has garnered phenomenal responses on each of the previous 4 hugely successful sell-out tours . The last tour featured Lisa McClendon and previously GL Live brought Lecrae and J.R to the UK stage for the first time. Da' T.R.U.T.H. was the U.S. headliner for the launch of GL Live in December 2007, and is excited to be returning for the 5th series of GL Live. The GL Live V tour will run from 20-22nd August, with concerts in London, Birmingham and Manchester.
