GL Media, the company behind the UK's premier Gospel music magazine: Gospel Link, is pleased to announce the next installment of GL Live will be starring Holy Hip Hop legend, Da’ T.R.U.T.H. Due to popular demand, GL Live V will see the Cross Movement Records artist return to the UK. The tour also celebrates this two-time Stellar award winning and Grammy nominated artists’ highly-anticipated 4th solo album, The Big Picture, which is due for release in July.
GL Live is an innovation in Urban Christian music events; the response being phenomenal every time, with 4 hugely successful sell-out tours. Previously presenting Lecrae and J.R to the UK stage for the first time, plus Lisa McClendon; Da’ T.R.U.T.H. was the U.S. headliner for the initial launch of GL Live in December 2007.
This powerful artist and speaker - who has worked alongside some of the Gospel industry’s finest, including Kirk Franklin, Tye Tribbett and Donnie McClurkin , while also being heavily involved in youth/prison/community ministry - is excited to be coming back for the 5th series of GL Live. Da' T.R.U.T.H. will be in the UK from the 18th to 23rd August and will be available for speaking engagements and interviews.
The official tour will run from 20-22nd August - with concerts in London, Birmingham and Manchester - also feature R&B sensation Sean Simmonds and established rapper Mark J. As always, GL Live will be showcasing home-grown talent, including Commission, E-Tizz plus others. More details will be announced via the official GL Live website, plus on Facebook and MySpace over the coming weeks.
